Our broadcast of unKit Live! will be discussing sources of inspiration. We will take one inspiration source and create a little something on the air. We always have a live interactive chat with other scrapbookers. and lots of fun.

Tonight is our unKIT Live! broadcast.   and we are really looking forward to it. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/unkit-live%21 9:30pm EST.  

We are creating a 2 page Christmas layout using your scraps.  You will need two 12 by 12 pieces of paper for the base of your layout.   1 piece about 9 inches by 3 inches, and 5 to 7 smaller pieces that are at least 3 inches tall.  Your scraps should not be matchy, but coordinate for the best look.   If you have any doo dads laying around, have them ready.  I am using Maya Road velvet flowers, but anything to help us put some finishing touches on your creation would be great!  and don’t forget your adhesive!   We hope to see you there.

We are very proud to announce that this month’s unKIT, as picked by Noell Hyman of Paperclipping, will be used on  Paperclipping Live Tuesday, October 28.  On the show, we will assemble a mini book together with Noell’s guidance.   So if you want to participate, please order your unKIT now.

From Scraps to Completed Layout

Bring your scraps, some alpha stickers (or stamps), and 2 neutral colored pieces of cardstock.  You will also need a one inch strip of a striped paper (or a strong geometrical pattern will do just fine).   Tonight on unKIT Live!~  we will be creating a 2 page layout using our scraps.   We will be talking about our continuing Think Pink Campaign and some upcoming unKIT changes.  So you won’t want to miss it.

Thanks to all who popped in to watch tonight.  We had a nice group of ladies.  I apologize for not being able to chat with everyone.   I hope you enjoyed talking about mini albums.  They are really great little quick projects.  I really appreciate the immediate gratification that comes with creating one.  and they make such wonderful gifts.

The little cheerleading mini album is by Creative Imaginations (one of the best manufacturers!) in their Bare Elements line.   It retails for $1.99!  You cannot beat that.  and it is a perfect size for your scrap pieces of paper.
